A few months ago, I had the pleasure of attending the Sierra County Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau annual meeting at Big Springs Gardens. The experience was nothing short of magical. The new owner has dedicated over a decade to enhancing the property, transforming it into a retreat center that complements even the finest establishments.
The facilities at Big Springs Gardens are exceptional. The commercial kitchen and dining hall provide a perfect setting for retreat attendees to unwind. During our visit, the dining hall resonated with laughter and joy, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. I can also envision serene silent retreats here, where guests can immerse themselves in the soothing sounds of nature, with gurgling streams weaving through the property.
A highlight of the retreat center is undoubtedly its expansive yoga facility. The space features stunning floor-to-ceiling windows that offer panoramic views of the surrounding forest.
